Creating a Monument

The process to create a monument starts with a stone quarry. Here the stone is removed in large blocks.

A diamond saw is used to cut the blocks into smaller monuments.

Some monuments have all four sides cut by the saw, while others perfer a rougher look. To create a rough edge, a chisel is used to shape the sides of the monuments.

These stones are brought to our warehouse where they will be etched.

A large supply of the more popular monuments are always on hand.

A sand blaster is used to etch the design into the monument.

Some monuments need a more personal touch.

Then the stones are finished and ready to go on our trucks for delivery.
